Hostel River

Located in the town of Pori, Hostel River is a cosy, peaceful and inexpensive hostel by the beautiful river Kokemäenjoki. Although the building itself is an old office building, protected by the National Board of Antiquities, the interior has just been renovated and refurbished.

The hostel has 9 rooms that are suitable for 1-4 people, and 1 double room. Buffet breakfast, bed linen and towels are all included in the rates. The hostel has pleasant communal areas, including a self-service kitchen with complimentary tea and coffee, a living room with a large TV, and an internet-connected computer and WiFi. We also have excellent meeting room facilities with all the necessary equipment for up to 40 people. There are also free parking places in front of the building and in the yard.

Hostel River is located in the area of Karjaranta, about 500 metres from Kirjurinluoto park area where you will find an event stage, a children’s play area, a beach, a miniature golf course, a cafe, etc. The hostel is just 800 metres from the main theatre and 1 kilometre (0.6 miles) from the marketplace. Our Reception is open Mon-Fri 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. and at other times by appointment.
