Korholan Kartano

Korholan Kartano is located 2 kilometres (1.3 miles) north west of the centre of Rautalampi, on the shore of Liimattalansalmi. The hostel is surrounded by a traditional Finnish manor house milieu with its beautiful grounds and waterside pavilion. Korholan Kartano is also an ideal venue for meetings, family celebrations, courses and other events. The manor has a good boat connection to the historic Rautalammin reitti, one of the longest water routes in Finland, reaching over 400 kilometres (250 miles).

The rooms are decorated in a manor house style, but with a personal touch. The communal areas include lounges, cooking facilities, showers and toilets, as well as laundry.

Outside there is a children’s play area and a beach suitable for children of all ages. The manor has a two-part sauna with a hot tub, which can be hired for a unique experience. There is also a barbecue shelter next to the sauna.

Breakfast is available in the restaurant for 5 euros, otherwise the restaurant caters for groups only.

Korholand Kartano also hosts a permanent art exhibition.
