LumiNenä Holiday Resort

LumiNenä has rooms of all sizes, from singles to 6-bed family rooms. It is also possible to rent a well-equipped cottage. All rooms and cottages have their own shower and toilet, kitchenette with a sitting area, set of dishes for at least 4 people, stove, microwave and a TV. Both the rooms and the cottages are situated on the shore of Lake Pyhäjärvi and have great views of the beautiful fells.

Breakfast can be paid and enjoyed in Restaurant LumiNenä but the hostel also offers full board. The restaurant specialises in Lappish dishes, but combines them also with new flavours.

The hostel is located near Pyhä ski slopes. You can ask the hostel staff for a pick up from the nearest bus stop or the train station.

LumiNenä is a paradise for an active guest. There are lots to do both in summer and winter. In winter you can take part in Samoyed, reindeer, snowshoe or ice fishing safaris. Skiing tracks start right next to the hostel and there are also snowmobiles for rent.

The summer offers good opportunities for hiking, boat and canoe rental and fishing. You can also hire a bicycle and test your fitness in the challenging terrain. The hostel has its own beach that is safe for children too.

In the LumiNenä Adventure Land you will find many exciting activities, including snow labyrinth, hills for sledging, throwing a rope around a reindeer’s antlers, reindeer sledge ride, Samoyed dog sledge ride and a maze-like crawling tunnel. In summer, you can get to know the Samoyed dogs, an arctic dog breed. You will also have the opportunity to take part in the feeding time, tidying up the cages and generally looking after the dogs.

The Hostelling International card will give you a 10% discount on Adventure Land area tickets and one-time wristbands.
