Virpiniemen retkeilyhotelli

The hostel is part of the Virpiniemi Sport Institute, located in the municipality of Haukipudas and the village of Kello, about 23 kilometres (14.5 miles) north of the city of Oulu. The hostel offers great opportunities for outdoor sport and hiking. In winter the place becomes a ski resort. There is also a barbecue area and, for children’s enjoyment, an adventure forest.

Our guests will stay in semi-detached houses which consist of twin rooms, some with a private toilet, shower and a WiFi. The communal areas include self-catering kitchen, living room and a sauna. Guests can also use a washing machine. For groups, we have well-equipped meeting rooms. Meals are available at the Virpiniemen Syke next door, but prior booking is necessary.

At weekends Virpiniemi is open and at your service according to your reservation, which must be made in advance either by telephone or email.
