Finnhostel Lappeenranta

Finnhostel Lappeenranta is a comfortable and well-kept hostel close to Lappeenranta town centre. Our hostel has 20 spacious rooms and altogether 60 bed places. The rooms are on two floors and all 20 rooms are non-smoking. For guests’ comfort we have communal areas, saunas and a swimming pool, together with a licensed cafe&restaurant. In the cafe&restaurant you can have a drink or a nice meal as well as watch TV or read the papers. At the back of the cafe there is a cosy Lounge with a pool table and a TV. We are located right on the shore of lake Saimaa. The hostel can be easily reached by either car or public transport. We also have a free car park and the surrounding areas offer excellent possibilities to enjoy the great outdoors. Finnhostel Lappeenranta is open all year round and looks forward to welcoming you to stay. In the summer season there is a camping site, Huhtiniemi, in operation next to Finnhostel Lappeenranta. The camping site services can also be used by hostel guests. Bike and boat hire is available in the summer season only (June-August). Our Reception will be happy to help with group enquiries and answer also other questions.

Huhtiniemi

Surrounded by nature, Huhtiniemi camping site also runs a summer hostel, which is next to Finnhostel Lappeenranta. The summer hostel is located in a beautiful red wooden house, featuring two 6-bedded dormitories: one for men and the other for women. The rooms are spacious and get lots of daylight. Hostel guests can also use the other buildings around the yard, the cooking shelter and the barbeque areas. There are also a beach and saunas nearby. A roomy licensed cafe&restaurant is open to guests in the main building, next to Reception. We are located right on the shore of Lake Saimaa, close to Lappeenranta town centre. You can easily reach us, either by car or public transport. Huhtiniemi summer hostel is open from June to August and offers you a warm welcome!
