Hostel Ukonlinna is a nice and friendly youth hostel located in Imatra, in South Karelia. Hostel is owned by a local sport club and its old wooden building has its own atmosphere from the past. Hostel is situated approximately 7 km from the town centre and 4 km from the bus and railway station. Imatra Spa hotel is in a walking distance. Hostel location right next to the beautiful lake Saimaa gives a peaceful and restful feeling. There are great opportunities for free time activities too; swimming at the summer time or cross country skiing at the winter time. You can also go trekking in the forest or go fishing on the lake. Hostel Ukonlinna is open all year round. There are a kitchen and a TV-room for customers use as well as availability for the sauna. Here you can get to know authentic Finnish countryside where cattle raising and forestry are still a big part of the everyday life of the locals. There is a functioning farm adjacent to the hostel. Located in Kaustinen’s Känsälä village, Koskelan lomatalo gives you the possibility to learn about the life in an authentic farm and tasks involved in running the farm. The international Kaustinen Folk Music Festival, taking place in July, brings together folk music enthusiasts from all over the world. Kaustinen also has a long tradition in horse racing (trot) so for horse fans it is a place well worth a visit. The host of Koskelan lomatalo can take you on a ride with a horse and cart any time of the year. Koskelan lomatalo accommodates you in a comfortable setting, in either the main building’s single, twin or triple rooms or in the outbuilding. The rooms are well equipped, with their own toilets and showers. There is also a spacious living room and cooking facilities. While staying here, you can be a part of the everyday life of the farm. Both half and full board are available. The hostel also has a comfortable sauna building where you can experience either a wood-heated sauna or a smoke sauna. The proprietors together with all the farm animals look forward to welcoming you as their guest!
Matkatupa
Matkatupa is situated by the southern shore of Lake Kemijärvi. Good swimming beach, fishing grounds and cloudberry bogs nearby. Fishing licenses are available at the hostel. Free use of boat for our guests. The area is also well suitable for caravanners. State hunting grounds nearby. If necessary, the guests will be called for at Kemijärvi railway or bus station.

The municipality of Nagu (or Nauvo) is located in the middle of the beautiful Turku archipelago. The surroundings are ideal for rest and relaxation, but offer plenty to do also for a more active holidaymaker. You can go fishing, hiking, cycling, paddling and, of course, sailing or boating.
Hostel Visatupa

Kartano Hostel
Kartano Hostel, with its adjoining manor house, is open all year round. The hostel is located next to the rapidly flowing river Kokemäenjoki, approximately 1.5 kilometres (1 mile) from Kokemäki town centre and 40 kilometres (30 miles) from the town of Pori. The farm is surrounded by lively countryside, with places, such as Puurijärvi-Isosuo National Park nearby. In the summer guests can pick peas and berries on the farm. There are good train and bus connections to the area. Transfers from the railway station or bus stop to the hostel can also be arranged. Kartano Hostel offers bed & breakfast accommodation to families, groups, independent travellers as well as business travellers. Also backpackers are catered for, with prices starting from 15 euro / night (bed linen not included). Our rooms are of hotel standard. Room types vary from single and twin rooms to 7-bedded dormitories for backpackers. We also have rooms suitable for guests travelling with a dog. Kartano is a non-smoking hostel, with WiFi, a number of lounges to relax and socialise in and many of our rooms have a TV. There is also a satellite TV in the living room. The rates include bed linen and towels, and also the use of sauna. Kartano Hostel also rents bicycles. Fishing is possible on river Kokemäenjoki. The bedrooms are in the manor’s main building and other buildings around the yard. There is a lot to see on this working farm. There is also a farm shop, selling fresh produce. Tours around the farm are available for groups.
