Virpiniemen retkeilyhotelli
The hostel is part of the Virpiniemi Sport Institute, located in the municipality of Haukipudas and the village of Kello, about 23 kilometres (14.5 miles) north of the city of Oulu. The hostel offers great opportunities for outdoor sport and hiking. In winter the place becomes a ski resort. There is also a barbecue area and, for children’s enjoyment, an adventure forest.

Hostel Ahopää
Fell Centre Kiilopää is the gateway to Urho Kekkonen National Park. Fell Centre offers cozy accommodation, tasty food, guided skiing, snowshoeing and hiking trips. Unforgettable moments can be experienced by swimming in an arctic fell stream and bathing in a genuine smoke sauna. During high tourist season guided skiing and snowshoeing tours are free for guests staying in Fell Centre Kiilopää. Guided tours are arranged from Sunday to Friday from the beginning of February to early May and during the height of the autumn season. Kiilopää is an ideal place for people who enjoy arctic nature, outdoor activities and stillness. Skiing tracks (about 190 kilometres) and hiking trails start from the courtyard. Kiilopää area provides the change to experience the real Lapland! In youth hostel Ahopää there are 5 rooms for 4 persons, 2 for 6 persons and 2 for two persons. Rooms are with bunkbeds, toilets on the corridor. There is common kitchen and drying cabinets in the same building. Linen and towels, sauna in the evenings and final cleaning are included to the accommodation price. All the rooms are smoke free.

Korholan Kartano is located 2 kilometres (1.3 miles) north west of the centre of Rautalampi, on the shore of Liimattalansalmi. The hostel is surrounded by a traditional Finnish manor house milieu with its beautiful grounds and waterside pavilion. Korholan Kartano is also an ideal venue for meetings, family celebrations, courses and other events. The manor has a good boat connection to the historic Rautalammin reitti, one of the longest water routes in Finland, reaching over 400 kilometres (250 miles).

Timitra Hostel
Timitra Hostel operates in North Karelia in Lieksa town about 1 mile from the town centre close to Lieksanjoki river. The castle like building was originally designed to serve as the national training centre of the Finnish Border Guard. This gives the hostel a masculine atmosphere. The accommodation facilities are on the second floor and consist of rooms for groups of 4 to 5 people as well as double and single rooms. On this floor there is also a spacious sauna area with showers and toilets. On the first floor there is a café restaurant.
Kartano Hostel
Kartano Hostel, with its adjoining manor house, is open all year round. The hostel is located next to the rapidly flowing river Kokemäenjoki, approximately 1.5 kilometres (1 mile) from Kokemäki town centre and 40 kilometres (30 miles) from the town of Pori. The farm is surrounded by lively countryside, with places, such as Puurijärvi-Isosuo National Park nearby. In the summer guests can pick peas and berries on the farm. There are good train and bus connections to the area. Transfers from the railway station or bus stop to the hostel can also be arranged. Ski Hostel Ruka
Ski Hostel Ruka is situated in the Ruka Ski Resort near the town of Kuusamo. The slopes start from the doorsteps of the hostel. You can choose from the popular ‘Saarua slope’ or the traditional ‘Vuosseli slope’. Or you can try several other slopes a bit further away. There are also activities available especially for the kids at the ‘Rosa & Rudolf Adventure Route’ by the Vuosseli slope. Snowboarders will love ‘Battery Park’ at Saarua. If you don’t have your own skiing equipment, don’t worry, you can rent equipment near the hostel. And also those who enjoy cross-country skiing will be happy to see the tracks right by the hostel as well as a snowmobile route. During summertime the hiking possibilities are endless! The most popular hiking route in Kuusamo – if not in the whole country – ‘Karhunkierros Trail’ (Bear’s Trail) runs next to the hostel. Ski Hostel Ruka has rooms for 1 to 4 people. Each room is 22 square metres in size and contains a double bed and a sofa-bed. Each room also has their own kitchenette, which includes a fridge, microwave oven, cooker and coffee machine. All rooms have their own bathroom, TV, drying cabinet (for clothes) and Wifi. Ski Hostel Ruka operates in the same premises as ‘Vuosselin Helmi’ accommodation services. The hostel is open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. from November to April. From May until the end of October it has a 24-hour phone service. The reception is adjacent to ‘Wings Bar Restaurant’ on the ground floor of the building. Breakfast is available for groups when booked in advance. The restaurant area can also be used as a conference room for up to 50 people. In the same building as the hostel you will also find an activity holiday company ‘Lapin Huuma’, which offers a wide range of activities and adventures around the year.
Hostel River
Located in the town of Pori, Hostel River is a cosy, peaceful and inexpensive hostel by the beautiful river Kokemäenjoki. Although the building itself is an old office building, protected by the National Board of Antiquities, the interior has just been renovated and refurbished.
Linnansaari huts
Linnansaari National Park in the middle of Lake Haukivesi, a part of greater Saimaa Lake complex, represents Finnish lakeland at its best. With its hundreds of islands and broad open waters it is a paradise for boaters. The main island, Linnansaari, has marked hiking trails with many interesting sights. On Linnansaari Island, at Sammakkoniemi camping, there are 5 huts, a small cafeteria, campfire places, cooking shelter, sauna, well and dry toilets. There is no electricity on the island.
Hostel Borea
Have a good night sleep aboard s/s Bore! The former steamship is now permanently anchored on the banks of the River Aura, situated in front of Forum Marinum Maritime Centre and within walking distance from Turku harbor and Turku castle. There is also a direct bus connection (bus number 1, bus stop Forum Marinum) from Turku airport. Free parking area for cars and coaches is provided for the guests. Walk through the parking area towards the old crane on the river bank, then turn to the right and follow the fenced passage to the Bore ship. At the hostel there are 43 cabins (singles, twins, triples and quads) with own toilet and shower. The bed linen, towel and buffet breakfast is included as well as morning sauna.
