For travellers that prefer to relax the best beach is just a five-minute-walk away. This hostel is one of the HI network of hostels in Finland and one of seven in Helsinki.
Private rooms in the hostel for 1-4 persons are available. All hostel rooms have a fridge and a phone, some even have a balcony! Please note bathroom facilities are shared. Hostel rates include breakfast buffet, bed linen and towels ( excluding dorms ). Hostel Satakuntatalo is happy to offer all guests free evening sauna and VAT.

Directions
Bus: Several local bus lines pass by. Closest bus stop 100 metres. Main bus terminal for both local and long distance services 100 m.
Metro: 100 m Kamppi station. Frequent connections to the eastern parts of Helsinki.
Parking: 1 place at backyard (fee). Bicycles free of charge.
Port: 1km: Western harbour (Tallink and Eckero line/ 3km: Silja-, Linda-, Nordic Jet- and Viking lines). Linda Line hydrofoil tickets can be reserved and booked from the hostel in advance.
Location: 300 m City centre. Just 100 m to the Kamppi Shopping Mall with variety of shops, bars and restaurants.Highly recommended!
Rail: 800 m Helsinki main railway station. Trains to St. Petersburg and Moscow daily. Remember to get your Visa in advance!
Airport: 25 km Helsinki-Vantaa. Bus 615 or Finnair bus to the Helsinki railway station. Also van shuttle and regular taxi service. Check timetables at www.finavia.fi
