Hostel Suomenlinna

Hostel is situated on an islands of Suomenlinna. Suomelinna, the 250-year-old fortress, which has been preserved intact because of its military use, is today part of the world heritage. In 1991 it was included in UNESCO’s World Heritage List. Hostel is located on Suomenlinna Island Fortress, on Iso Mustasaari, near Rantakasarmi Jetty barracks and the ferry harbour (main quay). HKL-passenger ferry connection from the Market Place all year round to Iso Mustasaari, takes approx. 15 min. In Summertime also water bus connection from Helsinki, Marker Place to Susisaari.Together 40 bedplaces in rooms for 2-10 persons. Cafe, common room, self catering kitchen. Eurohostel

Eurohostel is one of the largest all year around open hostels in Scandinavia. The hostel is located in central Helsinki in a unique part of the town called Katajanokka close by the Market Square and in neighbourhood of Jugendstil buildings. The city centre sights, shops, restaurants are all within walking distance and the ferries from Stockholm and Tallinn arrive just a few steps away. If you don´t want to walk 10 minutes to the city centre, trams number 4 and 4T run next to the hostel. There is a table with a chair and at least one lockable wardrobe in each room. All rooms types have separate single bed(s), no double bed or bunk bed available. Twin rooms available also in upgraded room category with television. Each of the five floors has its own self-service kitchen with dishes, cutlery, hot plates, microwave oven, lockable refrigerator and cable-TV. Facilities are shared in all room types - every floor has separate toilet and shower facilities for men and women. Fully licenced Restaurant Katajanmarja on the street level serves breakfast, has A la Carte list and excellent Pizza list! Vending machines at the lobby for late night travellers. Laundrette, luggage store, public phones, internet kiosk and customer phone for incoming calls at the street level. There are also single sex saunas on the top floor. The rates include accommodation, bed linen, towel and morning sauna. Buffet-breakfast available daily for extra charge. Hostel Erottajanpuisto is located in the Helsinki City Center with all attractions in walking distance. Hostel Sofia is located in the centre of Tampere, beside the Cathedral, about 500 metres from the railway station and 1 kilometre from the bus station. Our hostel has 28 rooms (from single rooms to rooms for four persons), altogether 73 beds. Hostel Sofia has a TV-room and free internet access for guests. Wireless internet access in every room. Beds have mattresses, blankets, sheets, towels and pillows. Sleeping bags are not allowed for reasons of hygiene. Showers and toilets are in the corridor.
