The hostel operates in the premises of the Virpiniemi Sport Academy, by the Gulf of Bothnia, 23 km north of Oulu. The hostel offers good opportunities for outdoor exercise and hiking: in winter it is a ski resort.

Majatalo Kotipuro

Majatalo Kotipuro is situated in Kerma, 6 kilometres away from the town centre of Heinävesi. The farm grows strawberries. Approximately 600 metres to a beach, which is by the Heinävesi water route. You can use our lakeside sauna, lean-to and campfire, and rental boat for 12 persons. In winter skiing and snow mobile driving routes close by.

Eurohostel

Eurohostel is one of the largest all year around open hostels in Scandinavia. The hostel is located in central Helsinki in a unique part of the town called Katajanokka close by the Market Square and in neighbourhood of Jugendstil buildings. The city centre sights, shops, restaurants are all within walking distance and the ferries from Stockholm and Tallinn arrive just a few steps away. If you don´t want to walk 10 minutes to the city centre, trams number 4 and 4T run next to the hostel. There is a table with a chair and at least one lockable wardrobe in each room. Hostel Ahopää

Fell Centre Kiilopää is the gateway to Urho Kekkonen National Park. Fell Centre offers cozy accommodation, tasty food, guided skiing, snowshoeing and hiking trips. During high tourist season guided skiing and snowshoeing tours are free for guests staying in Fell Centre Kiilopää. Guided tours are arranged from Sunday to Friday from the beginning of February to early May and during the height of the autumn season. Kiilopää is an ideal place for people who enjoy arctic nature, outdoor activities and stillness. Skiing tracks (about 190 kilometres) and hiking trails start from the courtyard. Kiilopää area provides the change to experience the real Lapland! In youth hostel Ahopää there are 5 rooms for 4 persons, 2 for 6 persons and 2 for two persons. Rooms are with bunkbeds, toilets on the corridor. There is common kitchen and drying cabinets in the same building. Linen and towels, sauna in the evenings and final cleaning are included to the accommodation price. All the rooms are smoke free.

Laajavuoren retkeilymaja is situated 4 kilometres from the centre of Jyväskylä. You will get easily to the hostel by bus number 25 from the centre. In the hostel there are 79 bed places and two self service customers kitchens. Evening sauna is also included in the room price. Hostel cafeteria is open every day. Laajari is surrounded with beautiful nature, where you can enjoy winter sports. There are 6 slopes for down hill skiing and trails of different lengths for cross country skiing. Timitra Hostel

Timitra Hostel operates in North Karelia in Lieksa town about 1 mile from the town centre close to Lieksanjoki river. The castle like building was originally designed to serve as the national training centre of the Finnish Border Guard. This gives the hostel a masculine atmosphere.
