Korpinpesä offers cosy and community-oriented accommodation in the heart of the Turku Archipelago, in Korppoo, right along the Archipelago Trail. The former daycare building, known locally as the “Dagis house,” has been given a new life as a vibrant meeting place where the tranquillity of the archipelago, creativity and warm hospitality go hand in hand. The journey here is already part of the experience: arriving from Turku includes two ferry crossings, and at the end of the trip you are welcomed by the authentic atmosphere of the archipelago.

Members of the Finnish Hostel Association’s member organisations and holders of a valid hostel card receive a 10% discount on accommodation. The membership or hostel card entitling you to the discount will be checked upon arrival at the hostel.

The former daycare building, known locally as the “Dagis house,” has been given a new life as a vibrant meeting place where the calm of the archipelago, creativity and warm hospitality come together. The journey here is already part of the experience: arriving from Turku involves two ferry crossings, and upon arrival you are welcomed by the authentic atmosphere of the Finnish archipelago.

The rooms are located on the upper floor of the building and include single and double rooms. The rooms are comfortable and peaceful, with shared bathroom and kitchen facilities. Three rooms form a small accommodation unit of their own, and access is through the courtyard. Korpinpesä is well suited for cyclists exploring the Archipelago Trail, remote workers, and travelers seeking the quiet beauty of island life.

Korpinpesä is much more than a place to stay. On the ground floor you will find a cosy café serving freshly baked sweet and savoury treats, as well as coffee, tea and refreshing drinks. In the same space there is a second-hand shop giving clothes and everyday items a new life, and the Vimpura handicraft shop, where products are made in the Finnish archipelago. The selection includes candles, jewellery, accessories, children’s clothing and interior décor items.

Community and creativity are at the heart of Korpinpesä. The flexible workshop space hosts various activities and events, such as theatre improvisation, yoga sessions, board game evenings and other shared gatherings. The space can also be rented for private events, from birthday parties to meetings, and new collaboration ideas are always welcome.

Wellbeing is a natural part of everyday life at Korpinpesä. Tunnepaja offers gentle wellbeing services for all ages, including reflexology and neurodiversity coaching. Yoga classes with an instructor are available by arrangement. Families can also enquire separately about childcare services, making Korpinpesä a flexible option for a variety of travel needs.

Korpinpesä follows the rhythm of the archipelago: in winter, you can pause and enjoy the silence and natural beauty, while in summer the islands come alive with visitors, events and encounters. The historic building, diverse activities and warm community atmosphere make Korpinpesä a place where staying overnight becomes more than accommodation – it becomes part of archipelago life.
