Oriveden Kampus offers comfortable and affordable accommodation in an inspiring cultural environment in Pirkanmaa, conveniently located between Tampere and Mänttä-Vilppula. Oriveden Kampus is a versatile meeting place – a campus-style area built in the former Orivesi College premises – where art, events and community activities come together to create a unique experience. The nearby Purnu Art Centre, nature-rich outdoor destinations and the traditional Rönni dance pavilion make the area an attractive destination all year round.

The accommodation at Oriveden Kampus is spread across several buildings, offering single and twin rooms. Most rooms have private bathrooms, and each accommodation floor includes a shared kitchen. The accommodation is suitable for individual travellers, remote workers and groups, and longer stays are also possible. There is plenty of free parking available on-site, and pets are welcome. The Oriveden Kampus office is located in the main building and is open on weekdays from 9 am to 3 pm, ensuring smooth service during your stay.

Oriveden Kampus is much more than just a place to stay. In summer, the area comes alive with courses, events and exhibitions, and the artistic heritage of the legendary Orivesi College is strongly present in everyday life on campus. Exhibitions at Galleria Akvaario showcase contemporary art, and the vibrant cultural scene attracts visitors from near and far.

Oriveden Kampus continues to develop actively: a new outdoor stage and event area planned for summer 2026 will bring even more cultural content and experiences to the area. The surrounding green park provides a natural setting for events and social gatherings.

The location of Oriveden Kampus close to local services makes visiting easy – a swimming hall, shops and other services are all within walking distance. In summer, Orivesi becomes lively with holidaymakers and seasonal residents, while at other times of the year the area offers a peaceful and inspiring environment.
